William was born on December 8th, 1873.  William's father was John Allen Miller and his mother was Elizabeth Stiles.  His maternal grandparents were David Stiles Jr. and Martha Daugherty.  He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Stiles, Herman and Sarah.  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 20 on May 7th, 1894.
