Myra was born in 1924.  Myra's father is Alexander Hill and her mother is Mary Emma Pumphrey.  Her maternal grandparents are Clarence Pumphrey and Sarah (Sally) Eliza Shipley.  She has a brother and two sisters, named Jack, Mary and Edna.  She is the second oldest of the four children.
