James  was born on June 19th, 1948.  James 's father is Joe Friar and his mother is Ruth Stiles.  His maternal grandparents were Ben Pirtle Stiles and Eleanor Hurst.  He had two brothers and two sisters, named Baby, Joe, Lyda and Vida.  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.  He died on June 19th, 1948.  His burial was in Cottage Hill Cemetery, Celina, TX.
