William was born on February 8th, 1885.  William's father was Henry David Willett and his mother was Amanda Melissa Miller.  His paternal grandparents were Darius Willett and Mary Ann Carter.  He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph , John, Jimmy, George, Sahara, Mary Ann, I., Mag, Georgia and Virginia.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 62 on November 24th, 1947.  His burial was in Townsend Cemetery, Smithville, AR.
