John was born in December 1878.  John's father was Henry David Willett and his mother was Amanda Melissa Miller.  His paternal grandparents were Darius Willett and Mary Ann Carter.  He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph , William, Jimmy, George, Sahara, Mary Ann, I., Mag, Georgia and Virginia.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 3 in 1881 in Sharp Co., Arkansas.  His burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, Clarksville, Johnson Co., AR.
