Ewell Esmond Willett

Ewell was born on June 13th, 1892. Ewell's father was Robert Hayter Willett and his mother was Amanda Pearson. His paternal grandparents were Darius Willett and Virginia (Jennie) Kirtley. He had a sister named Dessie. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 93 on November 29th, 1985 in Clarksville, Johnson Co, AR. His burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, Clarksville, Johnson Co., AR.¹

  Tom Johnson has a note in his genealogy that says, "As a young boy, I remember visiting Ewell's place near Clarksville, mostly from the wasps in the outhouse."
