David was born in 1920.  David's father is Hal Walters and his mother was Willett Gardiner Gaddie.  His maternal grandfather was David Washington Gaddie and his maternal grandmother is Anna Gardiner.  He had a sister named Susanna.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 43 on March 24th, 1963.  His burial was in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
