Frank was born on October 8th, 1919.  Frank's father was Willett Holderman Rush and his mother was Frankie May Milton.  His paternal grandfather is Cadwallader (C.W.) Willett Rush and his paternal grandmother was Rhoda Belle Bland.  He had two brothers and a sister, named James, Willett and Ovana.  He is the youngest of the four children.
