Stiles Stackhouse Gaddie

Stiles was born in 1864. Stiles' father was Margaret Ann Willett and his mother was John Grey Gaddie. His paternal grandparents were Griffith Willett and Rhoda Stiles. He had five brothers and three sisters, named George, David, Howard, Jimmie, Thomas, Lizzie, Mary and Mattie. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 61 in 1925.

General Notes
- When I was growing up, one of my favorite things was to stay with my Grandfather, Burr Stiles. In the evenings, he would sit in his chair, light his pipe, and begin with, "Did I ever tell you about the time me and Stackhouse Gaddie. . . " and that would start a tale about their adventures out west in the Oregon Territory. I can imagine that Stackhouse "fixed up" my Grandfather with my Grandmother, since she was Stackhouse's niece and Stackhouse was Granddaddy's very good friend.
