Susan Ann Stiles

Susan was born on September 3rd, 1815. Susan's father was Lewis Stiles. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Kitchell, Ogden, LaFayette, Martin, Mary, Sarah, Caroline, Minerva, Rebecca and Martha. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 43 on October 16th, 1858.

General Notes
- Susan and Wash lost 3 of their sons within one week. George Washington Thomas, Stiles Thomas and John Thomas all died within a week of each other and are buried in a single grave in Camp Ground, Ky. This epidemic of dysentery caused 2260 deaths in Kentucky or 20.67% of all deaths in the state of that year. This information was from Lois Stiles Spark's book and she credits the info to letters in possession of Lucy Johnson van Cleave.
