Mary was born on November 9th, 1817.  Mary's father was Lewis Stiles.  She had four brothers and six sisters, named Kitchell, Ogden, LaFayette, Martin, Susan, Sarah, Caroline, Minerva, Rebecca and Martha.  She was the second oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 69 on October 15th, 1887.
