Lois Ogden Stiles

Lois was born on July 1st, 1911. Lois' father was Lewis Ogden Stiles and her mother was Pearl Ruble Long. Her paternal grandparents were Sam Phillips Stiles and Anna Grundy Huston. She had a brother and two sisters, named Lewis, Louise and Anna. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 88 on November 7th, 1999.

General Notes
- Lois was an inspiration to all of us who knew her. She is important to our family since she updated her father's History of the Stiles family, and from that update, this Genealogy was started. She was born in Maceo, KY., obtained her BA from Kentucky Wesleyan College and her MA from Murray State Univ., Murray, KY. She taught in Weeksbury, KY., Breckenridge Co.; was librarian at University School, Murray, KY., was Supervisor, certification of librarians, Division of Certification, Dept. of Education, State of Kentucky, Frankfort, KY. and authored "A History of the David Stiles Family
