General Notes
- She had 6 boys and only one girl. The girl was one of the younger children. Apparently the boys were a bit hard to keep up with. Annie was a very religious person and she made all the children line up in front of the fireplace, kneel and say their prayers each night before they went to bed. My grandfather was the same age as the boys, so he spent many nights at their house. He said that their back would be to the fire as they prayed and inevitabally one of the boys would lean down, knock a coal of wood from the fireplace into the sole of a foot of one of his brothers. The brother who yelled out got into trouble with his mother!
