Willette Bennett Stiles

Willette was born on December 12th, 1901. Willette's father was John Calvin Stiles Jr. and his mother is Fannie Beeler Willette. His paternal grandparents were John Calvin Stiles and Elizabeth Carter. He had a brother and six sisters, named David, Duannah, Mary, Mattie, Iona, Frances and Eunice. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 97 on June 17th, 1999 in in Henderson Kentucky. His burial was in Stiles Cemetery.

General Notes
- Willette ran the Stiles Grocery Store. The Stiles Post Office was in the store, and his wife, Emma Mae was the Postmistress. One of the greatest things that could happen when we were kids was to be able to go to Willette's store and have a balogna sandwich with an Orange Crush. The gas pump outside had a glass globe at the top. The kids job was to pump the gasoline up into the glass globe to the amount that you wanted to buy. Willette has two children, Willette Brown Stiles (W.B. Stiles) and Mary Lois Stiles. Willette married another of our common ancestor, David's descendants, Emma Mae Brown. Their children are listed under her family.
