Helena was born on October 26th, 1915.  Helena's father was Chalen Harlan Stiles and her mother is Mary Amy Spalding.  Her paternal grandparents were John Calvin Stiles and Elizabeth Carter.  She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Hugh, Patrick, Elizabeth, Jessie, Catherine and Mary.  She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 77 on October 23rd, 1993.
