Dorothy Belle Stiles

Dorothy was born on August 3rd, 1920. Dorothy's father was Burr Harrison Stiles and her mother was Annie Bion Coakley. Her paternal grandparents were John Calvin Stiles and Elizabeth Carter. She had a brother named George. She is the younger of the two children.

General Notes
- Aunt Dorothy owns and operates the farm that was the original homestead of David Stiles. We know that the farm was started by a Revolutionary War soldier. As a reminder of the Civil War and the effects of that war on our family, there is a slave cabin still on the farm. Aunt Dorothy's first husband was killed on Okinawa during WW II. The farm is a beautiful place where you can find solitude, but also a reminder of what our family has suffered.
  
  Aunt Dorothy served as President of the Stiles Family Reunion Organization for many years and today continues to see after the upkeep of our cemetery.
