Densy Stiles

  • In the family histories of both LaFayette Pence and Lewis Stiles, only the name, Densy, is used for this daughter of David Stiles.  There are, however, records which use for her the name, Dorsey Philips Stiles.  It is possible and even likely that Densy was a nickname, but Lois Sparks, in her history, chose to continue the use of the name, Densy.   Densy was born in New Jersey and at the age of 15, moved with her family to Kentucky.
