William was born on June 8th, 1856.  William's father is David Thomas Stiles and his mother is Mary Geary.  His paternal grandparents were Demas Stiles and Margaret Ann Owsley.  He has a sister named Melissa.  He is the younger of the two children.  He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named David, Isabella and Jennie.
