Everett Charles Stiles

Everett was born on December 15th, 1887. Everett's father was Charles Cleland Stiles and his mother is Jerusha Ann Slayden. His paternal grandfather was Demas Stiles and his paternal grandmother is Tamson Bazzill. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Harry, Densy, unnamed, Mintie and Ora. He is the seventh oldest of the eight children.

  When I was a girl, my parents spent several months of each winter in Florida, usually in the Florida keys. When I was with them they always found a place to stay where Cousin Everett and Cousine Mabelle would have camped their Air Stream camper. They collected shells and they would allow me to come along. At that time, I knew the names of each of the shells we found and even the feeding habits of the animals that inhabited those shells, because Cousin Everett was a good teacher and he made me become interested!
