Gordon Lee McComb

Gordon was born on February 11th, 1933.

General Notes
- Gordon received his M.D. from University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1958. He went to Portland, Oregon for his internship and one year of surgery. At that point he had to sign up for the military. He served in the army and was stationed in the Dept. of Surgery at US Army Medical Command, Zama, Japan for 2 years. Marzenda went with him and had baby Stewart while there. Korea was active the, wives not allowed. By a miracle his orders were changed to Japan. He and Marzenda had an absolutely fabulous 2 years experiencing that culture.
  He was invited to join one of his mentor doctors in family practice in Portland. (The Sheboygan parents were disappointed) Gordon and Marzenda were happy to settle in Portland, that they had come to love. Gordon practiced 35 years in the family practice. After retiring, does surgical assissting at Providence Hospital.
