Elsa Horn

Elsa was born on April 29th, 1897. She died due to a medical problem, injuries from a car accident, at the age of 67 on June 6th, 1964. Her burial was in Stiles Plot of Wildwood Cemetery, Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

- born in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, 2nd of six born to August Horn and Anna Herman Horn. Elsa earned a Master's Degree in botany from Oregon State University, the year women got the vote! She was one of three women receiving a higher degree. She was awarded a fellowship to teach (for several years) at Kansas State College where she met and married Marion Richard Stiles
