John  was born on December 26th, 1924.  John 's father was John Austin Violette and his mother was Alice Anderson.  His maternal grandparents were Elmer  Anderson and Ruby Pottinger.  He had a brother and two sisters, named Larry, Alice and Patricia.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He had a half-sister named Cheryl.  He died at the age of 78 on September 8th, 2003.
