Ruth was born on November 2nd, 1898.  Ruth's father is Abe Van Cleve and her mother was Annie Josie Stiles.  Her maternal grandparents are Abraham Stiles and Gillie Ann Robertson Thomas.  She had two brothers and a sister, named Bertie, John and Nellie.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 78 on December 1st, 1976.
