Sarah was born on April 11th, 1889.  Sarah's father is Tom R. Thomas and her mother was Margaret Ann Stiles.  Her maternal grandfather was Rev. Jacob w. Stiles and her maternal grandmother is Mary Eliza Beeler.  She had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles, John (Jack), Alta, Mary, Valeria and Fannye.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 3 on October 9th, 1892.
