William was born on April 25th, 1863.  William's father was Lewis Fisk Stiles and his mother was Mary Parker Thomas.  His paternal grandfather was Charles Stiles.  He had two brothers and two sisters, named Cornelius, Gilly, Nannie and Mamie.  He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Albert, Clifton and Martha.  He died at the age of 71 on September 30th, 1934.
