Caroline was born in January 1874.  Caroline's father was Rev. Jacob w. Stiles and her mother is Mary Eliza Beeler.  Her paternal grandfather was Charles Stiles.  She had six brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Charles, James, Jacob, William, Harlan, Perditta, Margaret, Emma , Rebecca and Rhoda.  She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jacob, Henry, William, Jesse, David, Mary, Gertrude and Frances.  She died at the age of 69 on August 13th, 1943.
