Daniel was born on September 8th, 1958.  Daniel's father is Dennis Huntting and his mother is Mary Ann Gipson.  His maternal grandfather was Jack Gipson and his maternal grandmother is Fern Iola Mangold.  He has four brothers and two sisters, named David, Douglas, Dennis, Darren, Deborah and Deanne.  He is the second oldest of the seven children.
