Laura was born on December 26th, 1967.  Laura's father is Robert Edward Blankenship and her mother is Norma Faye Porter.  Her maternal grandparents are Eldred Stanley Porter and Londa Oost.  She had three brothers and a sister, named Edwin, Robert, Joel and Martha.  She is the fourth oldest of the five children.
