Charles was born on January 31st, 1905.  Charles' father was Albert Carpenter Baird and his mother was Tracy Stiles.  His maternal grandparents were Charles Bodine Stiles and Bettie Morris.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named Morris, Estil, Albert, Robert, Mary, Lillian, Ruth, Dorothy and Betty.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 64 on November 26th, 1969.
