Lela Mae Stiles

Lela was born on September 5th, 1893. Lela's father was George Abraham Stiles and his mother is Sarah Elizabeth Carlton. His paternal grandfather was James Maxwell Stiles and his paternal grandmother is Susan Neff. He had two brothers named Wilbur and Byron. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 95 in 1988.

General Notes
- Lela Mae was an accomplished business woman. She served as secretary to Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt's aid with offices in the White House. She authored a book, "The Man Behind Roosevelt" a biography of Louis M. Howe. Her res. was Washington, DC. The President of the United States sent flowers when her father died.
